A rarity in
Gloucestershire - can be found in very local patches in Wales
and England.
Information:
Dark chocolate brown background colour with distinctive two-tone
lighter brown marking that looks a bit like the plan view of a
bird flying with wings and neck outstretched.
Fore-wing length: 16mm. They normally fly May-July and can be
seen over broadleaved woodland, heaths, parks and areas of
scrubland.
