Marbled Minor agg.
(Oligia strigilis agg)

A difficult moth to identify and I needed lots of help to do it.

Information:
The 'agg.' in the name refers to the word "aggregate" and means, here, that without inspecting the moth's genitalia the exact species cannot be named with certainty. So, it is 'one of a list' - in this case, the 'List' is: Marbled Minor, Rosy Minor, Rufous Minor and Tawny Marbled Minor.
Fore-wing length: 11-13mm. Flight period: May-July over a wide range of coastal, country and urban habitats including gardens, grassland, heaths, woodland rides.
