Information:
Fore-wing length: 16-19mm. There is a large oval and an equally
arge kidney mark on each wing with, additionally, a dark streak
from the 'collar' towards the outer edge that is diagnostic.
They live in many habitats ranging from gardens, both town and
country, to open grassy areas such as farmland and woodland
rides. They are very common throughout Britain and can be seen
flying May-July.
