Gothic.
(Naenia typica)
Not a good photo but
just enough to identify this as a Gothic moth.
Information:
Fore-wing length: 17-22mm. A general colouring of dark
grey/brown with wing-veins showing as white lines plus a variety
of crosslines and oval/kydney outlines make a distinctive and
dramatic contrasting network that is relatively easy to
recognise.
They can be seen flying June-July in localised areas of Britain,
frequenting gardens and damp places such as riverbanks or
marshes, as well as hedgerows and damp meadows. They like a wide
variety of vegetation such as woody and herbaceous plants as
well as buddleia, apple, blackthorn, comfrey and
willowherbs.
