Buff Ermine.
(Spilosoma luteum)

A Buff Ermine moth on my garden wall. Just look at those bright orange/yellow 'socks.'

Information:
The Forewing length is 18-23mm and its common English name rather gives the game away. The overall colouriing is a pale yellowish tan and the moth has black spots organised into a curving row across the main wings. At rest it deploys in a Concorde shape with two areas of paler yellow close to the widest part of the wing. This paler area is delimited by a rough circle of small dots. To complete the identification the upper legs are covered in long bright orange to yellow 'fur.'
