A Bit About Moths 5.
Where can I find them?
But we don't actually have to trap them -
they are all around us. At dusk, just as the evening light is
fading, they can sometimes be seen. In day time some moths
(over 150 of them, such as the Cinnabar and Scarlet Tiger), can
be seen as they are day-flying moths. As you walk through long
grass or push your way through bushes, you may well disturb a
moth or two. Fence posts, tree-trunks, walls and even plastic
water butts can be used as a day-time perch by the occasional
moth.
