A Bit About Moths 1.
Why Moths?
Moths and Butterflies - of
the two butterflies, have the better press although they are
both members of the same family Moths. Butterflies are highly visible, colourful
and we often see them on beautiful sunny days flitting to and
from sweet smelling flowers. Moths on the other hand, eat your
clothes, get in your hair and live in dark dusty corners in the
dark.
Well, as ever, that is mainly myth. There are day-flying moths
as well as nocturnal ones. There are very colourful, large
moths and incredibly small and plain ones. Some come in
dazzling colours, some in camouflage - some have wing
arrangements that look so improbable you might wonder how they
can possibly fly.
