The Entrance to the New Road Level that is being opened up - very wet. Nearby there is an underground control room complete with power for the mine equipment (440 volts), a field telephone, a haulage control for the winch hauling out winch, chair and table, tea making equipment and a cosy fire with a flue up to the open air above.
